About Dr Clayton Smith
Psychiatrist
Dr Clayton Smith is a member of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and a registered medical practitioner. He is a member of the Faculty of Addiction Psychiatry. He is a SIRA accredited independent medical examiner and an Approved Medical Specialist for the NSW Personal Injury Commission.
He is taking a break from private practice throughout 2022 and is unable to see private patients. He is available for independent medical examinations and medicolegal matters.
Dr Clayton Smith has a special interest in Mind Body medicine and values wholistic care, including lifestyle modification, nutrition and exercise. Dr Smith is trained to use psychotherapy including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. He also prescribes medication and nutritional supplements when indicated. His philosophy is to support people to show up in their lives, to practice compassion for themselves and to make room for the challenges that will always be part of a life well lived.
